There were many traitors in our midst at that time, Collins not being among
them. De Valerra ( forgive the spelling ), used Collins as a scapegoat for the
grave mistake he, himself had made.
I refrain from calling "the long fellow" a traitor, as he cannot be judged by
today's standards, or with the benifit of hindsight.

My surname nor my origins in Cork play no part in my views on this subject, I
