The Washington State Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is contacting mountain bike clubs/groups regarding meetings to get the mountain bike community’s input on the development of statewide guidelines for mountain biking. I have gotten a hold of Brian Faller and he has directed me to get in contact with you. The guideline process is something that is going to be done for all recreational uses occurring on DNR-managed lands. By working with the mountain bike community to better understand mountain biking, DNR hopes to make informed decisions regarding the guidelines.
