I have a 2004 Glinkowski "Pony Sport" model, cob size, single horse.
You can see info at Driving Essentials.
http://www.drivingessentials.com/glink_ponysport.htm

It is dark green with black pinstriping; straight back wheels, "D"style
shafts, "B" style swingle tree, all mats. Has never been bent or even
competed. It does have some chipped paint on the shafts. I am in
Bush, LA, close to New Orleans. I am asking $5500 for it. Pictures
available.

A puppy found his way to my house and has been here for a couple of
weeks. He is about 8 inches tall, almost all black, somekind of
terrier mix and a real sweetie. He appears to be about 10-12 weeks
old. He seems to be smart, at least smart enough to stay away from the
horses.

If anyone wants him, please call...i have too many dogs, as folks drop
their dogs on this road all the time. I will take and send pix if
anyone is interested......and i will pay to have him neutuered if that
moves him along.

Hi All,

Pardon the plug that has nothing to do with driving, but since it is
the season for giving presents and giving thanks, I am passing along
a wonderful site for both.

Visit this site and try to visit the community. It was created by a
wonderful family to help those with physical and mental impairments,
and is a GREAT place to Christmas Shop.......and the restaurant can
compete with the best in Houston.

The Gift Shop is full of wonderful things all year round and the
nursery is one of a kind. There are several outlets around town, but
the community is just lovely.

I have tried to have a drive on their property, and it's still
possible if we do this as a parade for the residents. Let me know if
any of you are interested in a nice leisurely drive and letting the
residents pet the horses before or after......and if we have enough
people, i will see about making it happen.

I have a 14h2" Morgan gelding, and I need a marathon vehicle for him
to pull. I prefer a used (not abused) metal 4-wheel vehicle. If it
can also be used for a pair, that's a plus. Any leads will be greatly
appreciated!

I'm afraid there was no way to get an attachment off this site , but
I would be very interested in finding out more about any other
carriage pleasure driving show, at which I might compete.
And since I am sitting here at my computer this gives me a chance to
remind everyone that Cedar Creek is coming up soon. John Greenall and
Dana Bright are our officials for this, the 7th annual event.
We have one little fun change....we will be having a Fault and Out
cones class, so take a look at the ADS rules governing
that.Progressive will be run, as usual, in the covered arena so
everyone can watch competitors squeek, (or try to) through that last
set. The Marathon Pace will be another lovely jaunt through the Cedar
Creek scenery, and as usual I have something very devious to add to
the Gambler's Choice.I do hope we get a couple of you "Houston" area
whips to come up here. Closing date for entries is September 20th. We
have a wonderful wine and cheese reception planned for Friday evening
and shortly after that there will be a meeting of the ADS SW region
conducted by MaryAnn Boyden our area rep. A couple programs will be
presented, and then MaryAnn will be picking brains for information on
what ADS members want. So come on and join us. Ruthie

Deborah,
The small horse farm on which I live is located about 70 miles NW of Houston, 90 miles east of Austin in a little town called Brenham -- home of Blinn College and Blue Bell Ice Cream -- yum!!
A fellow HACA member, Nancy Ginn, is helping me bring along a new driving horse which I hope to compete with as a single by the spring if not sooner.  Right now she's driving him with her Arab mare and we're entered in the Plum Creek CDE next month.  Ever get the opportunity to travel to Texas for a CDE -- this one is great!!  Entries are still open, and we'd love to extend some Texas hospitality to those of you having to travel long distances to play with us  I'm really serious, now -- please, give it some thought -- I doubt it will be hot then -- though this IS Texas, and the weather is quite unpredictable
Check out the info on the Plum Creek CDE in the Omnibus.  I hope to hear from you soon about joining us.  'Til then . . .

Kinda related, I have a large Yucca looking plant that is having babies

I Don't know the name, but will try to look up, just hate to throw the

Calling all procrastinators!

I currently have only 10 people signed up for the Plum Creek Swap Drive next
Saturday. We
can handle as many as 30 in the time allowed. Everyone welcome. No experience
necessary.

A Swap Drive is a FUN day.

Enjoy the fun of a combined driving event without the pressure of competition.
Experience the Old West town and wonderful driving venue offered at Agarita
Ranch.
A great opportunity to practice for the the fall Plum Creek CDE at the show
site!

This is a day of fun, with dressage, cones and a mini marathon with 3 hazards.
The
morning drivers volunteer in the afternoon and the afternoon drivers volunteer
in the AM.
Because of this division of fun/labor, it lets you observe all sorts of driving
styles and
techniques.

This is the best introduction to competition, as there will be lots of
experienced folks to
help. This event lets you experience all the elements of a CDE, but in a relaxed
setting.
Perfect for that horse that need to get away from home. It's also a great day to
get to know
other drivers. Bring your lunch for a picnic at the pavillion.

Information and entry forms are available at

Just a note to say that entries officially open today for the Haven
Hill Driving Trial III being held November 10-11. There are tentative
plans to add a new hazard this year!

Compete if you can. If you aren't in a position to compete, please
volunteer! Our Volunteer Coordinator is Sandra Gomez. You will be
meeting her at the annual meeting 9/16. (I hope that we will see most
of you at the meeting.)

Remember that this show is co-sponsored by HACA, and we need lots of
help and support from the membership.

For all the details about the HHDTIII, visit www.havenhilldriving.com.

Thanks, and good driving!

Marlene
