Subject: [carriageassociation] Brenderup Horse Trailers
Hi Everyone,
I recently sold my 2001 Brenderup Solo horse trailer, that I dearly loved!, and got a new 2009 Brenderup Solo. Wow!! I thought I liked the 2001 model - but the changes and improvements they've made are just plain fabulous.
I like these trailers so much that I've arranged to work with a dealer in Austin, TX to sell them. Here's the website: www.theydeservetheb est.com
Brenderup horse trailers were designed in Denmark (Brenderup is a city in Denmark) and have been built in Midland, TX for the USA market since 1982.
There are 12 different models of one and two-horse bumper pull trailers available with many options. There's a model available for horses up to 18+ hh! And, the adjustable chest and butt bars can be custom installed for any height pony or horse.
They are designed to be safely towed by any vehicle having a wheelbase over 93 inches and an engine
developing at least 120 HP. So, you can use a smaller truck - I haul with a 2006 Toyota Tundra. They are aerodynamically designed to be a dream to tow and very stable, even when empty. And, for those of us in hot climates - the material they're made from makes them cooler inside than it is outside.
The safety and comfort of your horse or pony is the number one consideration for Brenderup. On the new models they even have stabilizers at the back, like RVs, so that you can keep the trailer perfectly still while loading or unloading your horses.
For drivers, one wonderful feature is that once stopped, you can easily jack-knife the trailer to 90 degrees so you can unload your cart or carriage without having to unhitch! Now, that's nice.
So, if you're interested in knowing more, please email me and if you're anywhere near College Station, TX I would be happy to bring mine so you can see it for yourself.
Thanks,
Anna
