Yay! Carlos beat Gasquet in straight sets, 6-2, 6-4.
But he didn't play as well against Frenchman Gilles Simon in the
final unfortunately ... Simon beat him for the title in straight sets
also, 6-3, 6-4. Grrrr ...
This is part of what Carlos said:
"Today I didn't feel the balls as well as during the last days,"
admitted Moya. "The conditions were different and the balls were
heavier. It was hard for me to move him around the court and he was
playing very well. He's a tough player to beat. I'm still happy with
my week here."
Good tournament for Carlos I guess, after not such a good 2008.

Carlos is currently playing in the Romanian Open tournament in Bucharest. He's been playing well, winning his early rounds, then defeating fellow Spaniard...
