I have been away and I see there is no update here re. Carlos lately ...
In the Cincy tournament, Carlos did much better than expected - he
reached the quarterfinals with wins over Tipsarevic, Davydenko (muy
bien) and Andreev. Then he played Andy Murray in the quarters, almost
winning that too! Apparently he was 'on fire' in the first set and
leading in the second, but Murray woke up to himself and came back to
win it in 3 sets. Moya would have been exhausted as he had to play both
Davydenko AND Andreev matches the day before (must've been rain delay
or something ... bet they wouldn't have scheduled that if it was Agassi
involved, a bit unkind to our veteran man)
Anyway, I was pleased to see Carlos doing better than in earlier
tournaments this year ... and Murray went on to win the Cincy
tournament, so no disgrace there.

Moya also played Los Angeles (don't think he normally plays there),
beat Malisse, but got beaten in a tight match after that by Delic. I
think Del Potro went on to win L.A., beating fav. Andy Roddick.

Now we wait for the US Open after the Olympics I guess ... hasta luego.
