Oh dear, Carlos had to play Rafael Nadal in the Hamburg quarter
finals. Aaaahhh, the draw has put Carlos and Rafa against each other
more times than I like in these tournaments, and here it was again -
Moya v. Nadal!
I guess we all expected Rafa to win, and so he did ... and in straight
sets, 6-1, 6-3. Apparently Carlos was ordinary in the first set, but
played much better in the second set, making Rafa work harder ... at
5-3 second set, Carlos even had break points against Rafa, but he
saved them of course. Ah well, que sera, sera ... at least Carlos got
to the quarters & wasn't knocked out first round here.
Oh I hope these two are NOT in the same section of the draw in the
French Open!!
