Carlos had a great run in the Costa do Sauipe tournament in Brasil -
he made it through to the final (after many 3-setters, making it hard
for himself!) against second-seeded Nicolas Almagro, another young up
and coming Spaniard who is 22 years old (and who had a much
easier 'ride' through to the final). Not bad for an 'old-timer'
nearly twice Almagro's age (Carlos will be 32 in August this year). I
really thought he was going to come back from the first set down (a
tie-breaker btw) to win after he took the second set, 6-3. But both
players fought hard in the 3rd and deciding set, with breaks of serve
& breaks back again ... until Carlos was broken at 5-5 all, and
Almagro went on to win it 7-5. Final score, 7-6, 3-6, 7-5 to Almagro.

Moya plays Buenos Aires next week ... not sure if I'll keep posting
here or not - nobody else does, seems we only get spam messages apart
