Well, what a marathon. What a match! Almost 4 hours in only a 3-
setter turned out to be the match of the tournament, the match of the
year, the match of the decade ... and MORE maybe ...!!!
Three tie-breaker sets, with neither player giving way, such close
points, such high standard and such entertainment ... it was sad that
someone had to lose - and the loser, unfortunately, was Carlos. After
saving 4 match points, Rafa rose to great heights to finally win this
semi-final, 6-7, 7-6, 7-6. PHEW!! Who could ask for more?
