Hash #584 - The 'Almost-Christmas' Hash   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #323 of 556 |

Yes, the time is nearing when your kids will finally act nice, but your bank account will begin to bleed. This hash offers you a chance to get out and celebrate before the money is gone & before your body is yearning for a day without another Xmas party.

Join us in the highlands for some fresh air & to see if you can find any snow before Xmas. We promise that, at a minimum, you will at least see some white marks on the street!

Hares:
Ivette 'Winnie the POOH',
Bjørn 'Yogi Bear' & Eivind 'Ivan the Terrible'

Date:
Sunday, November 12th.

Time:
Meet at 3:00 PM for a 3:30 start.

Location:
Above Valle Arriba in the Colinas de Bello Monte.  At Edificio Valser, just above the US Embassy where Calle Suapure starts (same place as Carsten).

Parking:
Do not park on Calle Suapure, as it is too busy. Park along the road coming from Redoma El Mirador; the initial circle will be in that area.  On the map, see the “M“ for meeting point.

Directions from Las Mercedes:
Take a right at the Texaco station and left at the next light. Continue going up the middle road and go up, up, up and pass the US Embassy. Calle Suapure is the road to the right, but park on the road going left; look for hashers!

Directions from Santa Fe: Again you go up, up, up into the snowy mountains until you reach the Redoma El Mirador. Go right, in the direction of the US Embassy.  Calle Suapure is the first road on the left, but turn around & park before the intersection.

Hash Insight:
This hash will be hilly, cold and possibly snowy, so bring your parkas, mittens and hats. The route will be on paved roads and OK for snowmen and any leftover goblins.  After the hash there will be snacks and down-down at the Yogi Bear’s terrace.

Costs:
Normal "Non-Food Hash" charge
= 10kBs for adult males
= 5kBs for adult females
= 0kBs for children

Contact: Bjørn at 0412-231-9494 (cell)
