| | | | The last 'Hash Lite' had almost as many bikers as walkers! It was held at Jim's place, which turned out to be a great location; hopefully we will be invited back in the
future! This week I got permission to use our place: Host: Jay Date: Sunday, March 19th Time: 10:00am for a 10:30am start
| | | Location: Edif. USUA on Eugenio Mendoza in La Castellana (more details than below) Directions: On right side (east) if going up to Avila. Between 1st Transversal (up to the north) & Los Granados (down to the south). Ave Eugenio
Mendoza is a boulevard, with grass growing in the median. You have to be going up(north) to enter the gate. The USUA sign is white and very small... so look for a pink CHHH hash sign on the big tree in front. Enter via left gate & park in visitors area.
| | | Hash Insight: This flexible hash will include runners, walkers, bladers and bicyclists. You are free to choose your own route; basically heading either east or west for 30 minutes, and then turning around. This week I hear the walkers may go up into the Avila for a hike. Upon return, we will head up to the terrace for drinks & snacks. | | Costs: Normal "Non-Food Hash" charge: = 10kBs for adult males = 5kBs for adult females = 0kBs for children Contact: Jay (home): 265-7245
| | Warning: Kids, do not try this at home! Ulf was trying out a new design for a bike helmet... with the theory that his head would just slide along the ground if he ever fell. He also was thinking that he could sell the idea to football players so that the World Cup would be more safe. Even with these wonderful beer-induced
ideas, he shouldn't think about quitting his day-job quite yet! | | | |
