Host & Hare: Gerry "Postman Pat" & Maritza
Note: Gerry has a very nice place that is situated two kilometers high, but he wasn't very decisive on some questions people asked:
- Will an oxygen break be provided?
- How hot will the pool be heated to?
- Is a round of golf included in the cost?
I guess we will just have to wait and see!
Date: Sunday, February 20, 2005
Time: 3:00pm for a 3:30pm start
Location: La Lagunita, at residence Ninina
Directions: Printable Map Page Go south on the Autopista from Las Mercedes; pass El Trinidad and head towards El Hatillo. Go straight through El Hatillo, to the La Lagunita security gate. Assuming you don't point a gun at the guard, you can wave and pass right through.
After the guard, take the first left and go up the hill. Continue going up until the road looks like it will head down again; take a left before going down. Continue going up this road, bearing to the left, until the road looks like it will go down into a cul de sac; don't go down... make a sharp right turn and continue up. Gerry's place is the 5th house on the left; named Ninina.
The driveway has a big black gate, so it should be easy to see. Park anywhere up or down the street.

For those people desiring a ride, and for those who can offer a ride, we ask that you meet at the Rincon Bar in El Rosal between 2:00 and 2:30; taxi's will be needed after that time! We will fill up the cars and put you on your way quickly, so any hassles should be minimal.
Hash Insight: This will be a hilly hash ... but it will be buggy friendly, so feel free to bring the little ones. After the hash Gerry will host a BBQ next to the pool, which will be available for those who want to swim (it's heat only by El Sol)... so bring some swim gear and towels.
Costs: The "food hash" charge will be: 13kBs for ex-pat adults,
10kBs for local adults, and 3kBs for children.
