Hash #517 - The Caracas Gourmet Hash Nov 17, 2004, 03:09
Host & Hare: Iain "Cueball" ...
Note: Rumor has it that Iain is working on a special sauerkraut dish... made from seaweed he hand-picked on Los Roques. This may explain why the hash coolers smelled so bad after they were in Jim's car for two weeks!
Date: Sunday, November 21st
Time: 3:30pm for a 4:00pm start
Location: Campo Allegre
Address: Begin & end at Res. Cociuza, which is at the intersection of 4ta Avenida & Los Ravelos.
Directions: Res Cociuza is one block up (north) from Fco. de Miranda, and one block east of the Embassy Suites Hotel, which is opposite the C. C. Centro Lido, El Rosal. Click here for Map
Hash Insight: This is a long'ish Hash, the route will vary considerably, and will utilise at least one alternative mode of transportation. There is a beer stop for the Hare and maybe one for the walkers, (who cares about the runners, as only wimps take on refreshments!).
This hash is NOT buggy friendly, as we will be taking in some rough terrain. Small kids will have to be carried on part of the trail. Iain, known for his enjoyment of the younger females, will be happy to offer his services in this area.
All food (hashie meal) & drinks (beer, soda & water) will be provided; there is no need to bring a salad. Costs will be: 13kBs for expat adults, 10kBs for local adults, and 3kBs for children.
If there is any seaweed sauerkraut left after the hash, try it as hair treatment... it is supposed to be ecological and biodegradable.
