Hello all,
Quick introduction as I'm new to this group. I'm 31, married (1
daughter) and started kiting one year ago as a result of an
anniversary gift (kite lesson with hung).
During the winter I've been kiting at Petrie Islands (in the east end)
on my 9m Waroo. I'm completely novice in water. The 9m waroo is my
only kite thusfar.
With summer approaching I'm thinking about buying another kite. My
question to all of you more experienced summer kiters is therefore:
Considering Ottawa's winds in summer what size kite(s) is most
practical (and would get used most often).
Finances are always an issue :-) and I realize that while a 4 kite
quiver might be most ideal...it's just not in the cards. I'm looking
for something to complete my 9 with something that would get a lot of
use in summer.
Thanks so much,
Emiel
ps: I'm 170 pounds and have a "Best" Drive Board (131 - 40)
