It has been along time since I heard anyone use the old term 'sled'
referring to a kite. What does it mean exactly? I actually know what
you are trying to refer to, but it would be much clearer if you used
modern terms like flat, SLE, bow, C shaped, inflatable, foil. Most
people understand these terms.
