I got this email below from our Naish rep here (Vancouver) yesterday.
He attached the ikitesurf windgraph which showed a sudden spike of
wind at 40mph just before 5PM.

... So I just got off the phone with my dealer in Toronto and he said
one guy was out kiting yesterday – around 5pm when the wind suddenly
spiked and he got lofted 100+ ft. He landed in the water but was
knocked out. They had to give him AR and he went in to a coma.

He's back to consciousness in the hospital now and looking to make
full recovery.

Scary stuff. Play safe.
