Hey Chris I am from around there and I can fill you in on where and who!!!!! the
best is Learn to kite.com if anything is going on.....this is the place...all
great guys and anyone from this end of the world is in there. Also Tim B who
runs it is a great instructor

My name is Chris & I live near Arkona, Ontario. (10 minutes to Grand
Bend) I'm new to the sport of kiteboarding but have been riding
skateboards/snowboards/wakeboards/surfboards for a very long time.

I'm currently just using a trainer kite to get the basics down & was
hopeing to get the hang of the board & kite combo on the snow this
winter. (I've purchased a 17m kite too)

And yes I plan on taking lessons.

I'm curious
a) if there are any other members around this area?
b) if anyone is currently riding?
