I have tried riding there once. It was way to gusty. You would think it
would be better, but inland lakes like that are not worth the hassle.
When i launched i actually went into the park and made my way down to
the "beach" there is quite a bit of room to launch, the only problem is
if you don't make it back to that spot, you are into a lot of tree
hazards. I am in kitchener, so i have only wished there is a spot close
to home. No luck though.
My advice would be to drive an hour and a half and be at lake ontario,
or Erie.
