I have tried riding there once. It was way to gusty. You would think it
would be better, but inland lakes like that are not worth the hassle.
When i launched i actually went into the park and made my way down to
the "beach" there is quite a bit of room to launch, the only problem is
if you don't make it back to that spot, you are into a lot of tree
hazards. I am in kitchener, so i have only wished there is a spot close
to home. No luck though.

My advice would be to drive an hour and a half and be at lake ontario,
or Erie.

... I haven't tried to kitesurf Guelph lake-but I have windsurfed there. The beach area has monofilament strung over to stop birds from hanging out there so...
