Academy Award nominated actor Denzel Washington
has been signed by the Edmonton Crude to play in the
inagural season.<br>"This has always been a dream of
mine," said the versatile actor. "I was an all-state in
high school so I know how to play the
game."<br>Washington also displayed his moves on the silver screen in
the movie "he Got Game." which also featured current
NBA star Ray Allen of the Milwaukee Bucks.<br>"In
fact I beat Ray twice in a game of H-O-R-S-E," laughed
Washington.<br>Washington will play a limited number of games due to
scheduled filming, "I hope to get in at least 10 games."
