Description
The purpose of this web site is to be a home for our group which was created to provide a connection for university & community bike center coordinators and interested individuals so questions, ideas and resources can be shared to allow bike programs to prosper.
Updates (fall of 2009):
- We've got a new web site that we're starting to use: http://www.universitybikeprograms.org
which includes a Bike wiki section where we encourage everyone to enter their information in the "List of campus bicycle programs" iorder to grow this resource:
http://www.universitybikeprograms.org/wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page
- Check out the web interface for our listserv which allows you to search and read archived posts to the list. Click the following link to check it out (must be a subscriber):
https://lists.wisc.edu/read/?forum=campus-biking&sb=1
- We're now focusing primarily on campus bike programs and encourage community bike programs to get in touch with the Think Tank/ Bike Collective that has a very active network of members and listserv along with an annual conference called Bike!Bike!:
http://www.bikecollectives.org
It was started by Tim Potter, MSU Bikes, and Jim Rogers, U-Wisc. Madison in Feb. 2008.
To join the campus biking email list, just send a blank email (no subject
line required) to:
join-campus-biking@lists.wisc.edu
You'll receive a confirmation request to that email which you'll need
to reply to in order to finish subscribing.
If you have further questions, just email either of us.

I am starting a bicycle maintenance class as Stanford University. Does anyone have a liability form that participants sign releasing the shop from liability?
