Hello all.
A few important things I've been meaning to discuss with
the players of Arlington Heights Ultimate.

Part 1:
A lot of us park in the cul-de-sac and walk across to
the field. Well, we _are_ walking through private lawns.
I had asked _both_ the houseowners a few weeks back.
They seemed ok (a bit hesitantly) with that AS LONG AS
we walk BETWEEN the 2 lawns and thus minimizing the
damage to the lawn. Also, if you park in the cul-de-sac,
make sure you park properly (give enough room for the
driveways, park REALLY close to the curbside etc. Just
normal considerate stuff).
Bottom line, just keep this in mind: lets be 'good
neighbours'!
Next, since the day I've spoken to both the houseowners,
I've been thinking about doing something nice for them.
How about we buy some small presents for both the
houses? Something they can put on the lawn or outside
the house? Or anything nice (but obviously not too
expensive). I think women usually have better taste than
me, so I'll defer this to them. Elizabeth, Mickey??? I
was thinking that we all will contribute a few dollars
each towards that gift.
Any other ideas? I _really_ would like to show some
appreciation for these 2 guys.
I will talk about this at the next game.

Part 2:
We really should make a team for the Fall league this
year. Weiss, how about you experienced players (can't
really say old... ;-)? Come on, guys, lets do it!!!!
We have enough decent players who will be around when
Fall League starts.

Part 3:
Anyone know how Suzie is doing? (the one with possible
torn ACL or twisted knee???) Anyone know if she or Jamie
(or their email addresses)? They both seem to have
disappeared since the day she twisted her knee.

Part 4:
I have a few discs & a pair of glasses. One of the discs
is of Jeff Duncan. I've been carrying this for over a
year. Jeff, does that mean it's mine now? ;-) The 2nd
one belongs to Greg (with the truck) & father of a young
child who came to watch (& play;-)! The glasses, I
assume, belong to Hoos.

That's it;-)

See you all at the next game

Cheers,
Manoj

I mentioned the idea of a gift for the home owners to those who showed on the 4th of July. A collection of 1-5 dollars from each person would do this. Idea I...
