Its been a while since the last email so thought i'd update you all on the
latest news.....

Last chance for nominating yourself for a committee position before voting
commences this Sunday and closes on the night of the AGM (30th March, 7pm,
keep it free!). We currently still have no nominations for a number of
positions including Fixtures Secretary, 3rd team captain, Fund Raiser and
U11 Manager so we would welcome any late nominations. Please contact one
of the board for further information.

The calendar is shaping up nicely with a packed summer schedule of games.

trying to organise more friendlies, particularly in the 2 weekends leading
up to the first games at the beginning of May. If you know anyone that
might be able to offer us a game then please put them in touch.

Practise sessions are still as popular as ever although the excellent
Fenners session on a Saturday morning has come to the end of its booked
period. More club members have taken their training courses and this is
making a big improvement in the quality of the training sessions we can
offer. We will start running outdoor training sessions soon so watch this
space.

We are currently on the lookout for new members whether that be players,
umpires, scorers or helpers so if you know anyone who might be interested
bring them along to a training session.

All in all its all shaping up to be an exciting summer in 2008!
