Hi Pip and all, well first things first--- I thought that the Newbridge game was fri nite? website says sat' 7/11@ 2.30!

That aside, we can do so much on the field as we have proved before- good looking rugby going forward coupled with resolute defence= games won well. So where's the evidence this year?

 Perhaps the directness given to our attack with "sideways" on the field last season is all that's missing this year? we all know that confidence is a fragile thing, keep the ball whilst going forwards and it breeds more confidence to others who need that support. We look good behind with new boy Dan at 10, "we like him!" was commented behind the posts on many occasions up at Bargoed last week. Being up for it -as with Sam at 8- is so good to watch. However, who calls the plays on field ?- sometimes it looks like the vision is not there.So many openings out wide, but with reluctance? to give it out.

Rant over... hope for another win next week, Fri / Sat?
