Description

Welcome to the Cabrucers page!

For those who may be just learning about this group, the Cabruce name is a combination of our founder's name (NCVC Life Member Bruce Oliver) and the railroad caboose on the W&OD trail where we initially met to begin each ride. Since its inception in 1995, the rides have always been designed to teach the essential skills of bike racing to riders who really want to learn. It is best suited to adults and stronger 15-18 year old juniors.

We are down to our last two rides in the series so if you are looking to join now, you've missed the prerequisites leading up to the advanced sessions. We'd still like you to join, as we will offer up one or two one-day sessions that incorporate the major topics. There will be less practice time than during the winter series, but you'll have the basics.

Please feel free click "Join this Group" and make use of the files section, read archived messages, and ask newbie type questions. This group is intended for members of NCVC, but you are welcome to try it out before you join the club. By clicking on Join this Group, you agree to the disclaimer that will be sent to you in the process. Please read it carefully.
