Re: [CAARA] New 2009 Fat Otter Race

Hey Rod.. do you know the date on this yet?  We would love to support this and
get our women's team- Max Multisport to train for this.

Fat Otter will be putting on the first annual Illinois Coast to
Coast

Multi-sport race next April. This straight forward multi-sport race

will differ from Adventure Racing in that there will really be no

navigating required. Simply ride, run/hike, paddle, and roller blade

your way from Lake Michigan to the Mississippi. This race is modeled

after the once popular 'Great Multi-sport Race Across Ohio'.

This is a supported race and you will may access your support crew at

ANY time. Traditionally banned items such as 2-way radios and GPS

will be allowed. Divisions include Solo, Open (2, 3, or 4-person),

and 4-person relay.

Check out the website (www.teamfatotter. com) for more information.

**For those of you planning on doing the MIX, this is a perfect

workout a few weeks prior to the race.

For the LOVE of MISERY....
