Hi All:

Just got this from my buddy Eric, who puts on some really awesome training
events, skills training sessions and races, some of which are done in
conjunction with DINO. I've participated in three (FEARS Sprint, Mission 18
hour, and First 24HOTM), and loved every (almost) minute of each. Eric is known
for putting together some "interesting" team challenges, and really knows his
ropes!

Hey all! Hope this finds all well with you, and everyone excited about the
coming spring and adventure season!!! Lots of good things going on out there for
the outdoor enthusiast. Just think, 5 years ago it was hard to find a good
adventure race in the Midwest.

24 HOTM IV

The fourth annual winter adventure training race, the only one of its kind, is
history. Teams from all over the Midwest, and more non-local teams than ever
before, came to Attica Indiana to tackle their training objectives and our
course. Read about it at http://www.dynamikadventures.com/start_24hotm.html.

Oaken Bucket Expedition Race

We thought it was time to step up the level of AR right here in our back yard
and are excited to announce the opening of registration for the Oaken Bucket
Expedition Adventure Race will take place 7-9 October 2005.

This will be an unsupported race over 3 days traveling a circuitous route from
Lafayette to Bloomington Indiana. You will not need to provide a support
person/team and vehicle to race; we will transport your gear. Each day will be
completed at about 22 hours of course time. Teams not at the daily cut off CP by
that time will be moved forward so that the next day can start at the 24 hour
mark. Teams that are in early will of course receive the benefit of some rest.
Those arriving between the 22-24 hour mark will obviously have less
reorganization and rest time. All teams will be allowed to continue with
shortest total time over the course distance being the winners. Your team gear
will be moved by us to all locations that you are allowed to access it.

The first 10 teams to register get a significant discount!!!

Go to http://www.dynamikadventures.com/news.html and check it out. Hope to see
many of you there.

Ropes Training and Certification

Adventure Racing Ropes Clinic offered 2-3 April 2005!!! Training on fixed ropes
skills tailored for all levels of experience. A must for the serious adventure
racer! Ropes skills Certification available with prior coordination to meet
expedition events' entry requirements.

With our solid knowledge and experience base we provide you exciting ropes
training to enhance your knowledge, safety, efficiency, and fun on fixed ropes.
We offer the following training and can tailor these to meet your specific
needs. Standard training skills are rappel, ascend, and Tyrolean traverse, with
zip line and other things available. For the advanced more unique and/or
advanced stations can be added like the fixed traverse along the outside of a
bridge, an inclined ascent, Tyrolean with gear (ex: bikes), etcetera.

Go to our site and register now before the class fills up at
http://www.dynamikadventures.com/events.html.

Get Started in Adventure Racing Seminar

We will be putting on a FREE (don't hear that much) seminar on the basics of
Adventure Racing and how to get started on 23 March 2005!!! It will be at
Extreme Outfitters starting after the doors close at 20:00 and go till 22:00
based on interactive questions. Topics are free form/free flow, but we are
looking at framing the discussion with types of races, areas of preparation,
food and hydration, team dynamics/strategy, the support team, and gear. We will
have our gear in several stages of display; packed, laid out, and worn.

Refreshments will be served and for attendees there will be a 'Post Hours' 10%
discount in the store. So it is like getting paid to attend. Sort of.

For directions visit the Extreme Outfitters site at
www.theextremeoutfitters.com.

DINO, Our Strategic Partner, also has a bunch of neat things going on for you
this summer.

The Extreme Outfitters' MISSION, May 28 2005

The Extreme Outfitters' MISSION Adventure Race - Saturday, May 28 - this is the
third annual, rated as one of the region's best adventure races!

Each team will race the full 18 hours - scoring is based on the number of
checkpoints reached by the strict midnight cutoff time.

Webpage www.DINOseries.com/mm

The MISSION is based at Muscatatuck County Park in North Vernon (Southeastern
Indiana). You'll be amazed and surprised at the scenery and topography in this
part of Indiana!

Highlights of the race include the spectacular Muscatatuck River, and excellent
ropes challenges operated by Dynamik Adventures. In the first two years, the
event has included rappel, ascend, tyrolean traverse, zip line, even real rock
climbing!

The Extreme Outfitters' DINO Triathlon, July 30 2005

For a bit milder, yet plenty challenging experience, check out The Extreme
Outfitters' DINO Triathlon, a Nissan Xterra Point Series Race. It's an off-road
triathlon with distances of ½ mile swim, 10 mile mountain bike, and 4 mile trail
run. For the non-swimmer or the adventure race type, a 1 mile kayak option is
available to replace the swim segment.

It all happens at France Park in Logansport (North Central Indiana). Start time
is 9 am on Saturday, July 30.

Single-Sport Challenges with DINO

DINO LLC promotes over 20 off-road events per year, including trail running,
mountain biking, and more. Visit www.DINOseries.com for full listings of events
throughout Indiana.
