Summer is here we are enjoying a fun little summer swell today. This weekend it is going to be windy BOTH DAYS! (as a matter of fact it looks like wind all week)
But I have 2 quick things to tell you about 
#1 This coming SATURDAY August 1 the folks at the Pleasantville Yacht Club are hosting a swimming race (Rainbow Channel Challenge) to benifit the Donny Fund. They asked if we (Extreme Windsurfing) could find some Stand Up Paddlers to escort the swimmers up and back the width of Lakes Bay (right in front of our shop's beach) So anyone interested please contact me directly 484 515 5758 or email me at karabaszJP@... Afterwards we can have a little covered dish cook out on our deck at Lakes Bay...I'll bring the Hamburgers & Watermelon Anyone else in????
#2 We finally got it off the ground Extreme Windsurfing is hosting the New Jersey Paddle Surfing Championships in Ocean City Aug 15th to benefit the Marine Mammal Stranding Center. Our website for this is basic info at this time So keep an eye out on this site for more details. It will be a fun event for a GREAT CAUSE. Product prize sponsors from Dakine Hawaii, Starboards & more....
Events are Downwind Distance Paddle race, Surfing & SURF SLALOM all in front of the summer boardwalk crowd. You can support the Marine Stranding center even if you don't compete (contributions are accepted here and at the event) Questions or registration call me or email jimK@...
