Hi Everyone,
 Summer is still kicking along had some raging thunderstorms on Sunday but great sailing Fri & Sat. (iWindsurf kinda missed those) Just some quick notes about up coming events, deals.

First Fun Event:
Summer Beach Party Sat. August 2nd Starts after sailing (later if its windy earlier if it is not) Proceeds go to Ocean Charities ($10 per person Donation). Great food, Great Fun One of the best events all year
Rainbow Paddle/ Swim August 2 Standup Paddle Board Event at the Pleasantville Yacht Club asked us to chaperone the Junior 1/4 mi swim 9am and our event is a 2 mi paddle at 9:45. $25 Donation to Field of Dreams & Donny Fund If you have an SUP this is going to be another FUN event. Call the shop for more details or email me (JimK)
 
Starboard & Sailworks DEMO WEEKEND August 23 & 24th all day. Try it before you buy Talk to the experts. killer deals in the shop & on limited demo equipment. If you've thinking about picking up some great Boards or sails, and waiting for the best time (Still LOTZ of sailing season left to enjoy it) THIS IS IT (last demo of this year)
 
SUP DEMO SEPT. 6 If you are thinking about SUP's or you have one and are getting into it this is the event! We are going to start with a flatwater Clinic here at Lakes Bay. With the area pioneers in the sport (Ben & Terry) Then we are going over to the beach (a good safe beach) and hit the waves again under the watchful eyes of our clinicians. Lunch on the beach. Nothing Fancy just FUN!

GREAT NEWS! 2008 T-Shirts  are in Extreme Windsurfing Logo shirt & The C4 "OLD GUYS RULE" Shirts. Cost $20 ea or $30 for any 2 T-Shirts. Get'm while they are HOT!

Also importantly I've met with the new owners of the Hampton in Tabby & Gary (Sonny's daughter & her husband) Absolutely lovely folks (their 4 boys are learning to windsurf) They are as excited as we are to continue windsurfing & Extreme Windsurfing here on Lakes Bay for many years to come.  

** NEW PROCEDURE: Starting early next week we will be re-deploying "Mr BOB" (outside toilet). It will be down by Extreme Windsurfing. PLEASE UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES USE/GO INTO THE HOTEL FACILITIES UNLESS YOU ARE A REGISTERED GUEST>>> NO EXCEPTIONS!  

* Water temp PLENTY WARM Spring suit or Trunks  

* WATCH OUT FOR DEHYDRATION THIS CAN SEVERELY HAMPER YOUR COORDINATION ON THE WATER WE HAVE A SNACK BAR ON THE DECK WITH WATER & DRINKS ( sorry non alcoholic only)  

* The Shower is gone. Hotel will not permit it to be rebuilt I suggest brining a sun shower. We SHOULD have water avail to fill sunshowers (Bring the Sunshine (warmth) too!) ONLY No equipment washing permitted.
