A buddy of mine, Roger Jackson got one while sailing in southern St. Mary's
County. He was helping someone get their rig back to shore when the local
surf nazi's pulled him over for not wearing a harness, (which qualifies as
an approved flotation device, as does a wetsuit) He said that he took it to
court, and lost... because that's the law. Never mind the fact that everyone
knows a harness won't keep you afloat..
