Paul - Only One Design sails are class legal when racing One Design.
They are a 7.4 and a 6.6, made by Mistral (or under the Mistral name)
for the class. The One Design class racers are all experience racers
with 7.4s so you may wish to defer joining that class until you have
decided on acquiring One Design sails.
If you have no racing experience, I would suggest the Novice class or
the Sport class. We can talk about the options at registration time
which is 10:00 AM (skippers' meeting at 11:15, first possible signal at
Noon).
