Aid Station Captains – the note below is for you and
your team. Please forward this message to anyone who helped you this weekend at
the BR100…
Burning River 100 Volunteers –
Thank you so much for the outstanding work this weekend!!!
Whether you were working at an aid station, marking course, delivering supplies
or helping out in some other way, you were the primary reason for the success of
the Burning River 100 this weekend. Thank you for taking time out of your
busy schedule to support the race and help so many runners in their efforts to
complete the difficult challenge of completing a 100 mile run.
I heard from so many runners that the aid stations were
excellent and a couple noted that the volunteers were the best they had seen at
an organized race…EVER! The main reasons they cited were your
enthusiasm, hard work and positive attitude in helping them to achieve their
goal.
Along with the rest of the BR100 committee I cannot thank
you enough.
I hope that you enjoyed your experience and please forward
any comments, suggestions, etc. about the event to me at jurczyk@....
Happy trails!
Joe, RD
P.S. Next year’s race will take place on August 1-2,
2009. Hope to see you then!
