Or do you want some one to fill it up... :P
Folks,
Andre Pereira from Palmela was nice enough to share with us how Vira 'o' Disco became a 'legal' club: a 'Clube de Practicantes' We probably should do the same for Diz-Cu.
Andre wrote: " In order to get your own Club you must fill out the document "Modelo 1" and send it to Instituto de Desporto de Portugal (IDP). However to do so you must first read the document about Clubes de Praticantes by IDP to get the info of what it is and what are it's components and characteristics. As Ultimate in Portugal doesn´t yet have a Federation you mustn't create a Sport Club, so the "Clubes de Praticantes" are a good choice for a group of people that play a sport, want to get more organized and get backup from the local city hall and other entities, even private ones, in terms of supporting the Club activities. The concept behind the "Clube de Praticantes" activities is that they are both sporting and recreational. In Ultimate you bust your ass chasing the disc (sport) and afterwards you go to the bar with your teammates and opponents for a couple of beers (recreational). Isn't it great?"
The contact in IDP that deals directly with Clubs is Helena.Ferreira@...
Attached are the documents.
Who wants to do this?
Patrick
