Just put a few up under "2001" and "Founder's
pics with Jills." C'mon, people. I doubt I'm the only
one at Bills games snapping Jills photos. It's not
like the team is anything to watch this year. Let's
see some more pics.
Trust me, everyone. This calendar is a must-buy. BTW, some of the Jills are now
a promo team...not performing on the field but doing appearances and stuff and
promoting the calendar.
on Bills home website. In following the example
of other NFL cheerleading squads, a Jill of the week
is now being named. The first honoree was Marissa,
the cute redheaded captain of the Jills squad. For
the Eagles game last week, Jennifer was given the
honor. Each Jill of the week answers a few questions
about the squad and the team each week.
Another neat feature is the video page on the
site. With Real Player, you can view the photo shoots
of a few of the Jills. No, not the swimsuit calendar
shoot, though I'd imagine that one of the girls featured
will undoubtedly be in the calendar. Unfortunately,
Real Player isn't very clear and I could only make out
two of the five Jills featured. I know that video 3
features squad captain Marissa- the cute redhead has been
a Buffalo Jill for 3 years now and was named a
captain last year. Video 5 features Emily, a second year
Jill who happens to be quite popular in my section of
the stadium. A guy who sits in front of me claims to
know her. I think he just wants to know her. One Jill
he does know is Nichole C. Actually, she's a former
Jill, having quit the squad for personal reasons in
this, her first year on the squad.
yea i went to the bills eagles game<br>and wow
all the jills were hot<br><br>but this1 was
especially hot<br><br>she had curly long brownish
hair<br><br><br>she was kinda short and had incredibly toned tanned
legs<br><br><br>ne1 know her name?
On a hunch, I went over the the
www.buffalobillsradionetwork.com site to look to see what they had on the Jills.
They advertised the 2001 calendar in the Gameday
magazine at last night's game and you can already order
it. Cool-looking setup, kind of like 97Rock's. They
did start adding bios for this year's squad but
haven't gotten many so far. They also added another cool
feature with some of the girls, with them making a few
comments in their voices playing over their bio page.
Hopefully, they'll get things completed over there soon as
I'd like to see the actual final roster as it has
changed since the final auditions were held and the Jills
were announced. A few have quit, Diana and Omarla
returned after not being on the final cut and Nicole B and
Jenni C have both changed their hairstyles.
Cool. You must be loving the fact that Diana has
returned to the Jills. Also, could you tell Nicole to tell
her husband to stay healthy this year? We could sure
use him. LOL!! BTW, in case you never noticed, the
News page here includes the Sabres, because of Nicole.
As originally planned, the Jills used Cancun,
Mexico as their location for the photo shoot for their
2002 swimsuit calendar, which becomes available
opening weekend (September 9th). I'll have to talk to
Nancy and see if it will be available for purchase
online like last year's was. Also, the squad shrunk, as
a number of Jills quit the squad before tonight's
opening preseason game. According to the girl I talked
to, who had been one of the Jills that quit (personal
reasons and commitments), there are now 26 Jills.
However, it looked like a few more Jills than that from
what I could tell. Diana and Omarla, two Jills not
listed on 97Rock's website as having returned, are in
fact, on the squad.
I don't know about the rest of you, but I am
really looking forward to the 2001 Jills Swimsuit
calendar. According to Holly and Rosa, the two Jills I
spoke with at the Bills Caravan, there was a change in
plans, possibly due to money. Instead of Cancun, the
photo shoot was to be in Las Vegas. I just hope Nancy,
the Jills director, was able to keep the girls busy
enough so they didn't spend all their time gambling.
LOL!!
You know, I really never noticed until the past
couple of years or so how much the Jills get involved. I
was watching Empire a few weeks ago and saw some of
the girls at the opening ceremonies of the Special
Olympics.
I don't think it is a big deal. Lots of people
have taken material off of napster and the police
don't care about prosecuting every napster offender. In
a worse case senario the Bills might ask for the
material to be removed. I really doubt that would happen.
Since you are not using it for profit it would be hard
for the Bills to say that your affecting their
revenue or the NFL.<br>Also not that many people look at
the cheerleader<br>groups anyways. As long as you
don't try to sell pictures and video they probably
consider it bad publicity as well as a waste of time and
money to<br>go after someone who posts a few pictures
on a club.<br>Sincerely<br> Roy
Thanks FirebirdDW for a few pics of the
Destroyers' cheerleaders, the Bombshells! I'm glad to see
some more members contribute some pics. I'm sure there
are lots of people out there with photos of either
the Jills or the Bombshells. Please post them,
people. This club isn't just for the Jills. The Arena
League cheerleaders deserve some recognition as well and
it may as well be Buffalo leading the charge.
Ha. Cool! Well hey I've seen a Charger Girl post
at the Charger girl fan club, and the Saintsations
club just got a visit from a Saintsation from the 1997
squad. These are the real deal too, I have spoken with
Jenny from the Saints. With any luck, The word will get
out, and we may very well see some more of the ladies
posting at these clubs.
Still working my way into this...am hoping that
maybe a Jill or even a Bombshell will join or
something. As far as knowing the director, I met her a
couple of times..the first time the day after
Thanksgiving when a bunch of the Jills were selling and
signing their swimsuit calendars...Julie talked me into
buying a second one as I had left mine at home (not a
hard sale considering all that beauty was sitting
right there). When I was getting the last of the
signatures upstairs at the mall, Nancy walked up and we
chatted for a few minutes...mostly about how some people
in my section were less than gentlemen when
addressing the girls. The second time was at the home finale
(worst weather in Bills history) and I asked her if they
had gotten the flowers I had sent the Jills thanking
them for the outstanding job they had done all season
long.
Maybe you can ask about posting photo's to the
web. I have tons of video clips and video captures
from games, I have posted them in the past, but I do
kinda worry about not having the "Expressed written
consent of the NFL and the _______ (fill in team name)
and NBC/CBS/FOX"<br>Though the nfl cheerleader fans
club has gone over a year, I haven't had any threats
or complaints yet. I do have the bills in a
Superbowl with TONS of shots of the Jills on the video. I
have yet to do any caps off of that tape. But I can
say the Jills were lookin mighty good that year.
Think the NFL cares much about people posting clips
from televised games?
That is pretty cool that you know the director.
Have you checked out the calendar link on your club
here? Scheduling events... I am thinking maybe it would
be cool if we could get someone like that to show up
in the chat room sometime, see how many members show
up to ask questions and stuff.
Yeah, I know what you mean about being leary of
posting that topic. However, as the Jills' director asked
me to make sure Jills' last names weren't
published....due to people not respecting their privacy....I
wanted to make sure it didn't happen in this club. I
mean, I'm on pretty good terms with her and the rest of
the Jills anyway (most of the fans in my section just
hoot and holler and are disrespectful of them and she
and I talked about that the first time I actually met
her......great lady by the way.)Anyway, I'd rather make sure
nothing happened to the girls....and would feel
incredibly bad about it if something bad happened due to
something I did or was able to prevent.
Well said. You are absolutely right. I have been
guilty of posting pics that have the cheerleaders full
name in the caption. I am pulling them and removing
the names. I have always been leary of it and
indecisive about this topic. Thanks for summing it up. I
agree with ya.<br>ZC
I am aware that some sites, posters, and various
other places you may have seen the Jills or Bombshells
may include their last names. Last names will not be
allowed here however. the reasoning for this is that,
while they are public figures in a sense, their
personal lives should be kept private. In the past, some
people have not seen it that way. This club is meant to
pay tribute to them for the hard work they do on and
off the field, not to provide info on the girls'
personal lives. Anyone not following these guidelines will
be given one and only one warning. I want to run
this club right as I respect these girls and what they
go through each week to help keep their respective
crowds fired up. While it's true that other squads keep
last names published, the Jills' director has asked me
not to so that is how this club will be run.<br>Now
that I'm off my soapbox, if anyone has pics that
they've taken that they'd like to contribute, please
don't hesitate to do so. The Jills are part of the
caravan going around the Western New York region and will
pose for photos as well as sell their swimsuit
calendars from last season. There are plans for a 2002
calendar as well and I would expect that we should see it
early in the NFL season.

miles away, dont get much news on the Bills and I just
never heard of the AFL Destroyers, I'm just not a true
dedicated fan much any more, still follow though but follow
as far as, so who's Q.B. this season? And Do we see
any hope for playoff births. Shit like that. Your
suttle sarcasim reminds me of my bro-inlaw. But we put
up with each other. Now one thing to settle... Where
did the name Jill originate? Was it just cause it
rymes? Thats kinda corny. Or is some one named Jill?
Like an origanal cheerleader? Got to know these things
to start a club dedicated to the "Jill's". Got to
love me. In the words of Dennis Leary "I'm An A$$hole"
Later, <br>Weedy <br><br>Sorry.....still new at this and
accidentally deleted your post when I meant to reply to it.
Luckily, I was able to cut and paste it here.
WHEW!!<br>Anyway, the Bills' QB is Rob Johnson and we will be
running a West Coast Offense designed to get rid of the
ball early (so sacks shouldn't pile up like they have
in the past). For current Bills news, the best place
to look is www.billsdaily.com Steve there runs a
good site and has links to stories all around the
web.<br>As for the Jills name, I'd be lying if I told you I
knew, but I can try to find out about that. I'll keep
you posted.
Ha-Ha. I think you already know the Jills are the
Bills' cheerleaders. Just started the club about an hour
ago so you're one of the charter members, i
guess..LOL!! The Bombshells cheer for the Buffalo Destroyers
AFL team.
Ooooohkay then so what exactly is there to talk
about. By the way nice photo gallery I think we need
help there eh? Da Jill's who knows mabey your on to
something, the Bill's kick a$$ so theorecticly the Jill's
should kick a$$!!! So who is Jill? And whats a
