135 girls tried out on March 25th for the honor of becoming Buffalo
Jills in 2006. Many veterans made an attempt to return..some were
successful..others were edged out by some promising new girls who hope
to join with the returning veterans to do Buffalo proud and continue in
the tradition set forth by those first Buffalo Bills cheerleaders so
many years ago. Those not returning from the 2005 squad will be missed
but a new group will step forward and be announced within the next few
days. This new group will contain a lot of familiar faces as well as a
large number of new ones. Leadership by veteran captains Omarlla,
Aimee, Jamie, and Kelly H will help to ensure the tradition of
beautiful and talented Buffalo Jills cheerleaders remains strong.
