Yes- I'm back from the world of Kangaroos and polocrosse (I picked up a sappy australian love story in the airport and it mentioned polocrosse... AHH!), and it was amazing. I met Joy Poole and had a tour of her farm and saw some STUNNING stock horses, and talked with her for hours. I went and saw Marilyn's soon to be imported new stud at an amazing old family Stud, and met polocrosse and stock horse people at the Australian Stock Horse Association. Oh and I visited tack stores that STOCK polocrosse stuff- FANTASTIC! (I also did some awesome non-horsey things like drinking lots of wine at vineyards in the Hunter Valley, SCUBA diving, hiking, boating, and just hanging out with great people. The dollar-dollar exchange is NOT in our favor these days, but I highly recommend a trip to Australia for any one who wants a great adventure!).
