Hill Country Presidential Play Day
This year our New Year’s Hill Country Play Day will be a tribute to LBJ – the Hill Country Presidential Play Day! That is, we are combining the play day with the Presidential Scholarship fund that was scheduled for Dec 8-9 and is now scheduled for Dec. 29 and 30 at the Hill Country Play Day.
This event is to raise money for the Presidential Scholarship Fund and to give us a great excuse to gather, play and enjoy each other. Here are the details of the gathering:
Where: Cypress Valley Ranch, Cypress Mill, Texas (Amy and John’s place. See below for directions)
When: Sat. and Sun, Dec. 29 and 30. Play will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday and 8 a.m. on Sunday.
What: This is planned to be a sectional. If you do not have a team, please enter as a single indicating where you hope to play. We will place you depending on your rating as well as the horse that you have entered to play on. The tournament committee will try its best to keep nominated teams together. We will endeavor to schedule the play for as much fun and as much participation as possible.
How Much: $55 for two entry and $35 for a one day entry. This includes Saturday night dinner.
Prizes: Prizes will be awarded for best 1, 2 and 3 in the over-all tournament; Best horses for each division and best player for each division.
