A show barn just down the street from me has two ponies it can no longer keep, so they're being given away for free, or sent to the auction this wednesday night. I think that they could both play polocrosse.
Ambassador "Ambie" - older welsh type gray pony. 12.? hh, has done many A shows. great with any kid who can steer. Sensible, sweet, gentle, barefoot and sound. Owner says he foundered but farrier can find no trace of it. I've ridden him a lot and he's quiet over fences with a nice jump, and has awesome canter strikeoffs from the walk or trot. He can teach a kid to walk, trot, canter, and do small courses. He could also do games or polocrosse.
Sunflower - 10hh dark bay Shetland pony, fairly green but can walk and trot fine, started cantering. She's not spooky but needs a strong rider. I think she might be a good games or polocrosse prospect. I jumped her over cross rails, but she's not for a beginner.
