addition to victoria's note: it was a wonderful tournament with a huge turnout-
old friends from texas, north carolina, and florida. new friends from georgia
and wisconsin. i played with a guy a florida and a girl from wisconsin
(minnesota extreme team). Donna's teammate was from atlanta and stayed with me
at sharon and jim's. the whole tournament went smoothly and the weather was
fantastic- it was a little toasty but we all got a nice tan. victoria was great
umpiring and helped me to figure out my horse on sunday morning so my sunday
chukkas went much better. my horse, rumor is a great little western horse but
knowing only english riding, we had some miscommunications early on. victoria
and jessi (my daughter and her friends drove down to help out and coach) helped
me learn to play on him and we had a blast together. he's for sale if anyone
wants a great jim last polocrosse horse who is up and coming.
its tme to get on our horses and ride! when is the first practice? i have
ridden at least 2 hrs a day for 5 days now. i'm ready for spring in pa to get
going.
