PANERA BREAD BUCKS 5K SERIES UPDATE   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #78 of 102 |
The Panera Bread Bucks 5K Series day at the Panera Bread cafe in
Warrington on January 12th was so successful that we've decided to
stage another one at the Central Bucks Family YMCA on February 9th
The hours are 8:00 to 11:00 AM.

The first 50 runners who register that day will receive a $3 Panera
gift card redeemable at their new cafe in the Valley Square Center in
Warrington. In addition, the Y is offering a complimentary pass to
runners who have not yet enjoyed training at the Y.

Registrations are significantly ahead of last year's record breaker,
so we expect another great year. You probably know that if you sign
up for all seven races, you'll save $15 and receive a custom,
moisture wicking T-shirt. This year's shirt will be long sleeved.

Our brochures were mailed this week, so you should have received
one. Of course, you can always register online or print an
application at www.bucks5kseries.com. The 2008 schedule is shown
below:

The Central Bucks Family YMCA 5K March 30
New Hope Solebury Spirit Run April 13
The Lab Fitness + Spa 5K April 26
SERTOMA Strut May 10
Doylestown 5K May 24
Chalfont Challenge June 7
Special Equestrians 5K June 15

We have been very fortunate this year to have more Series sponsors
than ever before. In addition to our title sponsor, Panera Bread,
Comcast has returned for their 13th year as our media sponsor. They
are joined by Quigley Cold-Eeze, TrainingZone Sports, Univest, Marvic
Supply, Johnny Marino's Advanced Health & Performance Center,
Delaware Valley College Aggies, Fred Beans Family of Dealerships, and
Hall Family Chiropractic. Please support these sponsors whenever you
can because they are a key to the success of the Series. You can
also learn more about them on our website.

I hope to see you all at the Y race on March 30. Remember
Shakespeare's words from Julius Caesar – "Bid me run and I will
strive with things impossible".

Dick Patterson
