BUCKS 5K SERIES presented by Quigley Cold-Eeze kicks off March 19th   Message List

Dear Runners,

We're fast approaching the first Bucks 5K Series race on March 19th.

The Central Bucks Family YMCA will once again celebrate St. Patrick's
Day with events for the entire family to enjoy. They include the 5K
race, a one mile fun run, and, for the first time, a 2 mile health
walk. Also for the first time, you can compete in the special Pump
and Run division. Children's activities include a kid's scramble,
face painting, and Blarney stone painting. All 5K runners will be
eligible to win a raffle for a hybrid fitness bike.

Last year's 5K winner, Karl Dusen, recorded the fastest time for any
of the Series races. The YMCA 5K course has just been certified by
USTAF (certification #PA06001LMB), so any records will be officially
recognized by the USTAF.

The Y race is a good place to start your collection of Series
points. Remember, there are 5 year age groups for both this race and
the overall Series.

All of the details, including times, driving directions, previous
years' results, contact points, how the Series standings work, and
much more can be viewed at www.bucks5kseries.com. While you're
there, take a look at the special Series moisture wicking T-shirt.
It's free to any runner who registers for all seven races before
March 12th. So far, more than 50 runners have taken advantage of
this offer, which also includes a discounted price. Please remember
that if you plan to register for the YMCA race alone, the
registration fee will increase after March 12th.

You can print an application or register online now at
www.bucks5kseries.com.
