Alexandra Brasington from Dresher has just won her 4th consecutive
Bucks 5K Series women's championship. She was 11 years old when she
won her first. Alexandra won 4 of the 5 Series races she entered in
2005.

Kevin Cooke (Doylestown) was the men's winner. Kevin finished in the
top 3 in each of the 5 races he ran, finishing first in two of them.

The Bucks 5K Series consists of seven 5K races in Bucks County. To
be eligible for overall championship the runners must run a minimum
of 4 races, with points awarded for the 4 highest finishes.

Doylestown Borough Business and Community Association, Chalfont's
Parks and Trails, and Special Equestrians. This year, the Series and
the organizations netted more than $60,000 for their worthy causes.
