Bucks 5K Series - Here comes the New Hope-Solebury "Spirit Run"

The second race of the Bucks 5K Series will start from New Hope-
Solebury High School at 10:00 on Sunday, April 4th. Registration
opens at 8:30.

If haven't run the course, you've been missing a treat. Most of last
year's runners agreed that it is the most scenic of the seven Bucks
5K Series races, winding through picturesque New Hope. One important
change is that the registration and post race events will be held
inside the High School. This should be comforting to those who
remember the gusty winds in 2003.

Our new and improved Fun Run kicks off the day at 9:30. This year
there will be special T-shirts and awards for the 1-mile event. If
you plan to run the 5K, encourage your family to join the fun by
running or walking the Fun Run.

Other highlights include team competition. Teams of 6-12 runners are
invited to join the competition for a chance to win a free dinner at
one of New Hope's fine restaurants. Call 215-862-5665 for information
and sign up sheets. There will also be music, giveaways, good food,
and children's activities after the race. Join the pre-race and post-
race crowd and enjoy the friendship of our community of runners.
