Dear Bucks 5k Series Runner,

Our next event is the DBCA Doylestown 5k, on May 25, 2002.
Registration will be held in the Mt. Carmel Gymnasium from 8:00 AM to
10:00 AM in Doylestown
Borough. This is typically the biggest race of the Series.

The race begins at 10:15 AM in front of the Mt. Carmel Church. The
race winds through the streets of Doylestown and ends in the downtown
business district. Following the race, the Doylestown Business
Community Alliance will sponsor a small street festival for race
participants on East State Street.

In addition to the usual spread of water ice, bagels, fruit and
water, Roosevelt's Blue Star Restaurant will be firing up the grill
for race participants. With the purchase of a $5.00 ticket
(available at registration or at the finish line area), runners will
be able to get hamburgers, hot dogs, soda and ice cream. The Blue 52
Jazz Bar will also make other malted beverages available to adult
participants as well! See you on May 25th!

You can pre-register online at www.bucks5k series.com, or print a
registration form. If you register (or postmark your application)
before May 18th, the fee is $15. After that, it's $20

SERIES MERCHANDISE

If you have been admiring the series long sleeve navy tee shirts from
afar, don't. Buy one for yourself, or even as a gift for another
runner. Series merchandise can be found at the Series Table located
in the race registration area. The other hot item is a commemorative
handmade tile. All proceeds from the series merchandise goes
directly to our non-profit charities. You can view the items on the
series web site at http://www.bucks5kseries.com/merchand.html
