BTT Public is a restricted e-mail list for members and friends of BTT to share information on training, racing, and events.

The Boston Triathlon Team provides opportunities for training, racing, and friendship for athletes of all abilities. One of the oldest multi-sport teams in New England, the Boston Triathlon Team is composed of competitive and recreational athletes who enjoy a variety of sports and activities including triathlon, swimming, cycling, running, adventure racing, and cross country skiing. Please do not use BTTPublic for marketing and/or spam mail. Coaches, please do not post more frequently than once per month.

It is prohibited for any individual to advertise or solicit the transfer of race numbers on the BTTPrivate and BTTPublic mailing lists. In nearly all cases, Race Directors place restrictions on, and often outright prohibit number transfers. As such, we will not allow our forums to be used to violate race polices. While we recognize that a small number of races permit the transfer of race numbers, the BTT moderators will not research the restrictions (or lack thereof) of particular Race Directors. BTT reserves the right to remove anyone from our mailing lists who violates this policy.

While we cannot control what you do privately, please consider that race number transfers will result in denying honest participants in the race their proper placement and recognition. Transfers across age or gender can result in fraudulent qualification for events as well as denying honest participants opportunities on the podium. This violates both the essence of sport and fair-play.
