Are any of the group products of a high school cycling program? If
not a product of one have you heard of any HS teams or club?

Part of my duties with the NBW www.nbwclub.org is to locate and
encourage younger people to ride. I was a member of the Providence
Country Day (in RI) team from 1980-82. At the time there was a
strong high school (New England Prep Cycling Assn.) racing scene.
The team went away in the mid-nineties due to lack of interest.
Some schools with teams in the eighties were Barrington HS, Andover,
Phillips Exeter, Vermont Acadamy, Bishop Connoly, Deerfield,
Northfield Mount Herman and Eaglebrook.

Are any of these teams still around? A quick Googling revealed that
Andover and Proctor School in NH have teams but I couldn't find any
mention of how to contact the league, it there is one. Did the sport
fare better ouside of the northeast?

I am interested in any HS cycling experiences anyone might have.
Racing, touring, triathlon etc. Let me know what got you hooked.
