This site is for use as a communication and information tool regarding cycling that begins in the Brookside area of Kansas City, MO and other rides that may be of interest. Reminders for upcoming rides are sent out as special notices or as reminders from the calendar link. All other messages will be regular emails.

Thursday night: The Brookside Ride LEAVES at 6:30 pm from the north parking lot at 63rd and Brookside. This is a moderate paced ride but you should be able to go 10 mph. We regroup at the Village Church and just east of 79 and Lamar where riders can choose to take a 14 mile or 16-17 mile route. We ride all year, weather permitting. From September to the end of March headlights and taillights are REQUIRED. Routes are shown on a map in the FILES section. After the ride you are invited to join us for food and drink at Hooper's.

The Turtles ride on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays during the warm months and clear cooler days. Starts behind Jalapeno's. Notices will be emailed.

Saturday: Ride at 8:00—check weekly messages for information. Ride at 3:00 pm from Acme Bicycle Co., 412 E. 18th, route changes. Call 816 221 2045.

Sunday: The Bloomsday Ride is a show-n-go that leaves from the north parking lot, 62nd Terr./Brookside, at 8:00 am. We alternate going to the City Market or Whole Foods. The group may divide, with some going short (15 miles) and some from 30 to 60 miles. Check weekly messages for specific information.

Any other human-powered pursuit can be accommodated on this site. Any member can add information.
