This is not about "popularity." It's about putting a stain on the uniform by
replacing Brooklyn with Baracklyn, the name of a politician. Something tells me
that the people who think this is "popular" would not have appreciated the
"Bushlyn Cyclones."

You just don't put a politician's name, any politician's name, on the uniform.
It's not appropriate.

And it is political. Obama Girl throwing out the first pitch? People named
McCain or Palin banished to free seats in the bleachers? It's a regular Obama
Drink the Kool aide fest.
