Re: [Brooklyn Cyclones ] Re: Boycotting This Year

i understand how it could have been perceived differently if they did this promotion during the election season ... i don't think it's so much partisan as just "jumping on the bandwagon" of what they perceive is a popular "current event", if you will ... with that, i still don't agree with it but i didn't cancel my mini-plan over it ...
though i totally would've been there if they did a marty golden bobblehead, especially if it was a "senate body-blocking marty golden" action figure ;-) ...

Give the Cyclones credit. This will probably be the most popular give away of the season. I don't think politics have anything to do with it. A presidential bobblehead will be a great collectible and I'm sure they'll disappear quickly. I've already had friends (from both sides of the aisle)ask me to get them one. Get there early, I know I will

This is not about "popularity." It's about putting a stain on the uniform by replacing Brooklyn with Baracklyn, the name of a politician. Something tells me...

Guess the "Washington" Nationals should change their name too? I wouldn't have minded the "Bushlyn" Cyclones either, it is a bush league team by definition....
