I take it as paying homage to our first black president, while acknowledging the importance of Brooklyn in breaking racial barriers. For one night I think we can look the other way and just enjoy the game. The bobble head will become a valuable piece of memorabilia as well as the jerseys from that night. The team can make a small fortune for charity by auctioning off the jerseys throughout the season. Perhaps the team could honor each new incoming president in the same manor to take any partisanship out of it? If Jeb Bush wins we could have the Bushwackers, If Palin wins the Palindrones etc.
