How about some congrats to Nick Evans, former Cyclones first baseman,
for hitting three doubles and driving in two runs in his major league
debut yesterday for the injury-depleted Mets against the Rockies!!!
And he made the jump from Double-A!!!! Way to go, Nick!!!

With any luck (and with the Mets unlikely to keep the aging Delgado
after this season), Nick could be our starting first baseman next
year!!!
